This course offers a comprehensive introduction to Health and Safety Committee (HSC) and Health and Safety Representative (HSR) roles and responsibilities. Taking this course contributes to the required hours of training for HSC members and HSRs. This 6-hour course is self-paced and can be completed in multiple sessions if necessary. This course is approved by Alberta Labour and meets the Alberta OHS legislated training requirements for HSC co-chairs and HSRs and is also recommended for all HSC members and for managers supporting the HSC or HSR.
This online Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention course is designed to help individuals understand how to identify incidents that could be considered workplace harassment and/or workplace violence.
